|

Well the fact is Shane Carruth did what I want to do, which is make a movie with just some money that was slapped together. I expect other questions, and was hoping for just one reply in answer to all or something....
How much did the camera cost to rent? Before you started did you think you would be shooting most shots in one take? As you said you spent hundreds? of hours in the library eventually David Sullivan joined you and you could work on scenes and probably edit the dialogue. I guess i'm just looking for a few words on how you eventually got the ball rolling after the script neared completion. Now im just going to end the rambling before it gets any worse, and im forced to kick myself while regretting the past. What "the man" says, is what'll say. I hope he's thought of things he wished he'd mentioned in the commentary.
best line of movie was in directors commentary when he would always rip on his camera work. Nothings good enough for you either;) were you raised Catholic?
My big question is if you edited all on your computer (3.2 ghz or less, how much hard drive space, what program after affects?) I'm just amazed how well it was done, you probably didnt waste much of any actors time. and super 16 to camera how was that done? You talked about sound - what did you do wrong how would you do it better?
And any advice you can muster about after the script had finally come to fruitition what happened next.
I dont even know if the films director belongs in the forum, but i wish he would put a locked post for everyone to read. I guarantee I'm not the only S.O.B. who would love to pull off a film 1/10th of how well this film was put together, not to mention script.
I found Shane in members he has apparently posted 126 times i have found few.
